DIY Multivitamin Pup Treats

Getting your dog to take a daily multivitamin and other supplements can be a little complicated. I’ve discovered the best way to hide them is in little frozen treat bites. Basically, you make a smoothie with the vitamin and freeze it into little dollops. They are also great in a bigger size to help keep your pup busy or cool in the hot summer months.

1 cup plain organic yogurt, use coconut if you don’t know how your dog does with dairy
2 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons oat bran
12 doses daily multivitamin and supplement

In a blender, blend all ingredients together. The mix will be pretty thick so you may need to add a touch more yogurt to get the blender going. Once everything is silky smooth, stop the blender and set it aside.

On a cookie sheet lined with parchment OR in an ice cube mould, evenly spoon the mixture onto the tray in 12 portions. You can make these smaller if you’d like (24 and give the dog 2 per serving), but keep the numbers in mind so that you do not over or under dose.

Let the mix freeze for at least an hour. Remove from the tray or moulds and store in a ziploc bag in the freezer.
